When asked to define Tea many would naturally answer it to be a hot beverage typically brewed to be enjoyed within the comforts of one's home at tea time and comes in varieties of black, green or red leaf infusions.
We were also under the same impression until one fortunate day found us sipping this luscious brew seated next to an emerald green tea garden in the isle of Sri Lanka. Having our senses thus opened to the wonderful world of tea, we decided to share this amazing experience and thus our new business concept was brought to life.
The plantations under our ownership come with intriguing histories over a century old and are spread over the Central Province of Sri Lanka amidst the breath taking emerald green landscapes of Nuwara Eliya. These plantations are located in an altitude of 2000 to 2,400m and have the purest air and richest soil that balances smoothly with the humidity and soft sunshine in the mountains.
Among these we also purchase the best auctioned teas from plantations situated in other elevations grown in different soil and weather conditions. This enables our expert tea tasters to create their own unique tea blends with rich flavors and unforgettable aromas. We also offer teas with blended with some of nature's best herbal ingredients such as organic bergamot essence, jasmine petals and lemon peel.
All our products are 100% pure Ceylon tea, grown and packed locally. In order to ensure that we provide the best quality teas our products are approved by the Sri Lanka Tea Board and each of our products proudly carry their special Ceylon Tea Lion Logo.
